FACO ready for real action in the hospitals
On 8th April 2020, the doctors and IT specialists from Ramathibodi Chakri Naruebodindra Hospital and Police General Hospital joined the technical demonstration of FACO; one of the most reliable robotics platforms for healthcare professionals fighting against COVID-19, to ensure the fit functional operation prior to its installation at the hospital.
The demonstration completely showed and presented by the FIBO staff – FACO development team comprised Dr.Djitt Laowattana (Project Leader), Mr.Wuttichai Wisarnkuna (Deputy Director for Industrial Services), Asst. Prof. Dr. Supachai Vongbunyong (Deputy Director for Academic Affairs), and Dr.Warasinee Chaisaengmongkon.
From the demonstration that simulating the operation of the robots and the central control system – the FACO Cockpit, teams of the medical doctors and specialists expressed their satisfaction and appreciation on this impressive system platform that will provide vital assistance to the frontline healthcare personnel.
In this regard, both sides discussed further the suitable time period that the system will be installed, at an early date, to start working to keep up with the urgent needs of the hospitals.
