Philosophy of course
The Master of Science program in technopreneurship has been offered to students who want to use their technological competencies as a foundation for their business ventures. The program continuously engages student ideas into products and services. Moreover, students work closely with FIBO faculty and colleagues to create competitiveness of the nation with their innovative ideas and business strategies. Students will have opportunities to start new businesses. The program is designed for technologist, scientists and business innovators to understand the business processes from the beginning of start-ups to sustainable enterprises. Technopreneurship is a multi-discipline program which includes new venture creation with respect to technology management, business and innovation management.
Objective
- To create knowledge of Technopreneur development for Thailand
- To create Technopreneur from university graduate and alumni who want to start their own businesses
- To foster FIBO technologies and commercially transform FIBO inventions to new products and services
- To create graduates who are able to make decision under circumstances regarding to product research and development, business situations, technology and management.
- To practice Technopreneur using project based learning which include autonomous learning, inquiry based learning and independent learning.
Admission qualification
Applicants must have bachelor degree in engineering, art and science or related to. Work experiences would be an advantage.
Admission selection
Selection criteria bases on interviews with academic background and work experiences. Applicants must take a English Placement Test for English proficiency . Applicants can use TOEFL score of 500 paper-based test or 173 of computer-based test to get exempt from taking an English Placement Test.
Education system
Accordance with the regulations of Tech. As a graduate student.
Period of study
The two year course and is not more than 5 years.
Evaluation and graduation
Evaluation and graduated in accordance with the regulations of Tech. As a graduate student.
