Proposal and granting policies
@M provides funding to strengthen the collaboration between KMUTT and industry within the field of advanced manufacturing. We invite all interested researchers to submit their proposals for cooperative projects all year long while the granting process is based on our reviewing committees.
Who may submit proposals to @M
- KMUTT faculty and staff, research groups at research institutes, government related agencies, those who are member of @M
- Principle investigator should hold a Ph.D. degree or hold the associate professorship (or higher)
- Principle investigator who has not violated the granting policies in their previous project granted by @M
Types of funding
1. Joint funding of university and industry
2. Full funding by industry
Granting policies
1.The proposed project should be applied project which objectives are proposed by industry (require a consent letter from industry along with the proposal)
2.The proposed project should be related to advanced manufacturing and related area
3.The project time should not exceed 12 months
4.The budget should be within the limited amount offer by @M and appropriate in the project outline
5.The granted project should submit the outcome of the project (a copy of the manuscript or patent filing) to @M
– 180 days after submitting the full report (the manuscript or patent filing with a consent from industry)
– 180 days after the confidential time (the manuscript or patent filing with a consent from industry)
6.The budget setting of each project will be granted based on the following conditions:
– The budget less than 500,000 bahts: the proposed output should include at least 1 conference paper
– The budget between 500,000-1,000,000 bahts: the proposed output should include at least 2 conference papers
– The budget more than 1,000,000 bahts: the proposed output should include at least 1 journal paper with Impact factor and the submitted journal should be listed in ISI database
– The equivalent of 1 patent filing is 1 journal paper with Impact factor (journal should be listed in ISI database), or an industrial prototype
– The proposed output as agreed by the granting committees
