Abstract

Due to global warming, various types of disasters have a tendency to rise. The 2011 Thai floods call for an action to develop flood prevention measures that are more effective. One step to take is to survey the depths of various rivers to help manage and plan the drainage. In this case, it is very important to know the cross-section of the river. Therefore, the Institute of Field Robotics (FIBO) has researched and developed USV to gain the data.
