Abstract

This thesis is a study of a many-legged mobile robot that provides an investigation of collapsed buildings. The robot is necessary to complete the mission in the areas that are too dangerous or difficult for humans.

Therefore, the robot is designed and built to be a many-legged robot because it offers more agility and suitable for working conditions than other types of robots. The six-legged robot was developed to work in collapsed buildings.

The design and construction of a six-legged robot consist of mechanical and electrical components. The robot needs to be programmed to be able to move and be used in real conditions. Therefore, the researcher tested the robot’s walking along the path in the simulated environment to see the accuracy of its movement.
