Abstract

The Hydro and Agro Informatics Institute (Public Organization), or HAII, whose primary mission is water resource planning and management, sought to research and develop methods and equipment for aerial surveys to aid in data collection from above. In response, the Field Robotics Institute (FIBO), in collaboration with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, led by Dr. Annop Ruangvithayasaph and the research team, undertook the design and construction of a small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV).

This UAV was developed for missions involving monitoring and planning for the installation and improvement of telemetry systems in the field, optimizing natural resource management, and tracking changes before and after disasters. Additionally, it can be applied to creating high-resolution maps.
