Work Experience

    Medical Robotics and Computer Integrated Surgery Group (MeRCIS), EECS, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, USA
    Research and develop the third ventriculostomy simulator for training surgeon by using GiPSi framework. The GiPSi (General Interactive Physical Simulation Interface) is an open source/open architecture framework for developing surgical simulations.
  • Consultant and Programmer: 2006 – 2008
    Government Documents, Kelvin Smith Library, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, USA
    Assisted and developed online databases in the discarding and item selection projects. The discarding project was a database application which stored the information of discarded government documents. Before discarding, all information needed to be stored and other libraries had to be notified that they could request and view selected documents. The item selection project was the database application to store the items that library subscribed for using in government documents. These selected items have been updated annually. The web applications were developed on Visual Studio .Net using C# and Microsoft SQL.
  • Research Assistant: 2007
    Digital Case, Kelvin Smith Library, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, USA
    Developed a web application to extract the information from scanned rare documents and stored in text format. This web application converted and corrected the text file into the XML file by using the TEI-Lite document Type Definition. After that, the XML _les were stored in the database.
  • Consultant and Programmer: 2006
    Art and Audio Department, Nakornthon Hospital, Bangkok, THAILAND
    Assisted and developed an online database for reserving the instruments and meeting rooms in the hospital. The application is developed on Visual Studio .Net using C# and Microsoft SQL.

    Assisted and developed a database application to store and retrieve student information from the time they apply until the end of the summer travel program by using Microsoft Access. Rustic Pathways is the summer travel program agency for high school students, families, groups and college students.

    Ratchasuda College, Mahidol University, Bangkok, THAILAND
    Developed a screen reader program by using terminate and stay resident technique in DOS. This software was used for reading the screen and sent the character to Thai language synthesis hardware, which built by the Computer Engineering Department, Chulalongkorn University, which allowed blind people to use computers.
