FIBO Students Clinch ‘Winner’ Title at Muang Thong Hackathon 2024

🎉 “CuddleCam: CCTV Security Project” Wins First Prize at Muang Thong Hackathon 2024
A team of second-year students from the Institute of Field Robotics (FIBO), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), studying in the Robotics and Automation Engineering program, has proudly won first prize at the Muang Thong Hackathon 2024.

Their project, “CuddleCam”, is an innovative AI-based CCTV security system that detects accidents, traffic law violations, and traffic congestion in real-time. Using live CCTV footage, the system identifies abnormal events and enables quick coordination and response, contributing to the development of smarter urban living.
🏆 Out of 72 teams from 30 universities, the FIBO team was shortlisted to the final 13 teams and ultimately won the first prize, showcasing outstanding application of academic knowledge to solve real-world problems.
